A balcony in the home

When I was young my dream is to have a home with a balcony. If that is right beside the bedroom then it would be great that I could watch the road before bedtime. Nothing special with the balcony but just a penchant for a house design.

But when we moved to this home with no balcony I realized that a balcony is not really good. One resident in the village was attacked by a burglar through the balcony. That made sense and an eye opener too.
