Our village is not upscale with roving security guards. Although we have a security guard by the village gate but it seems that burglaries are still occurring. What residents do is to protect their own h omes by a good fence. Putting barbed wire on top of the fence is one good way of making an obstacle for the burglar.
In spite of the cctv and other technological tools like the laser sensor, burglars still have a way to bypass them. But I guess the barbed wire on the fence can make them stop on their tracks.
