Our air conditioner is not really new but we still take good care of it after more than 10 years of service to us. To prolong the life of the appliance we always call the technician for the regular cleaning. The prescribed schedule is twice a year.
Cleaning involves expense but we are prepared to spend because it is for the care of our air conditioner. Besides, when the appliance is already dirty then the air may not be that clean anymore. It is all right to spend just for that.
