When I chanced upon a cashew fruit being sold by the church patio in a suburban town, I bought 4 pieces and engaged the vendor to a small talk. The vendor’s family owns the orchard of cashew trees. That is great for information. After eating the cashew fruit, I planted the cashew nut in a plastic pot, hoping that it will produce a seedling. And it did so now we have cashew tree.
The fruit is shown in the picture like a yellow bell with a dangling cashew nut at the bottom. It never fails to stir the interest of passersby when they see the cashew fruit. Truly the cashew tree is one good novelty.

I like the taste of cashew nuts. I actually prefer them to almonds.
