Are you a touch me not?

I was a touch me not once upon a time but the day I discovered myself I have learnt one thing and that is when someone hurts you and says things about you that are not true,  it has nothing to do with you but with the one who says it  They derive sadistic joy when they hurt others. 

Another word for Mimosa pudica  the flower you see in the photo is touch me not. It closes its leaves the moment you touch them.  Here it is considered a weed and is pulled out.  The main reason being it has many thorns.  I have retained one plant in my garden. In other countries these plants are sold.
