Our guava tree and the birds

It is common to see a half-eaten guava in the tree by our front yard. The ripe guava is eaten by the birds. Usually in the late afternoon or in the early morning, the birds would come to check on the ripening guavas. But they leave some for us so we co-exist with harmony and sharing.

I had never thought of the birds as depriving us of the guavas. In fact, they were the ones who planted the tree from the seeds they got somewhere. That guava tree just sprouted and grew that later on there were fruits. Now it is only right to share the harvest with the birds.
