Energetyk took the lead in the 17th minute when Devid Tweh deked out the defender on the left hand side and put a curler into the top right-hand part of the net. The goal was so good that Tweh was overcome with emotion and with relief that he scored with such panache.
Energetyk scored their second goal in extra time in the second half when Jasur Yaxshiboev was tripped by the Smolevichy goalkeeper on a certain goal. However, Yaxshiboev was awarded a penalty kick, which he put away to give Energetyk the 2-0 victory.
