The small fruit trees

When we bought our house 2 decades ago, I was jubilant because there is space for a little garden at the backyard. And there’s a mango tree that is already fruiting so that is like having a bonus with my wish for a garden. With haste, I bought some edible plants and small fruit trees. And why small fruit trees only? That is because there is no more space for big trees like the mango.

Fortunately I was able to have a star fruit, dragon fruit, custard apple and cashew tree. They are now all fruiting and so many years of harvest for us. It is gratifying to look around and see the edibles that would give us a harvest once in a while. Truly, gardening is very rewarding.
