Before the road match with FC Neman Grodno on Friday, FC Belshina Bobruisk were winless and pointless in the Belarus Premier League. However, Belshina decided not to give up and secured a 1-1 draw at the Stadyen Nyoman in Hrodna, Belarus.
The only goal in the first half was a marvellous free kick from about 25 yards out at the 42nd minute from Grodno player Gegam Kadimyan. The ball curled around the wall into the left side of the net to give Neman Grodno the 1-0 lead at halftime.
However, Belshina did not mope and tied the score in the 59th minute when Leonid Kovel tapped in a cross from the right-hand flank. Belshina was then able to hold on to nab a point.
Although Belshina grabs the draw, Bobruisk remains at the bottom of the Belarus Premier League. Neman Grodno moves up to eighth place for the time being with five points.
