When food is getting scarce

The lockdown rules are getting stricter now that the market has a checkpoint. It takes a long time in the line to enter so people are turned off. But if you have nothing to eat for the day, you have to deal with the agony of waiting in line for an hour or two just to be able to buy food. And if you do not have the patience then you will just go home empty-handed with nothing.

It is good that we have some plants in our backyard. And what luck that our banana plant has a blossom. The banana blossom is considered a vegetable that can be cooked with meat or even fish. However, it can also be cooked alone and be eaten like a real vegetable. At least we have something for lunch.
