Did you know Chris Colfer? Mr. Colfer is that young man on the TV series ‘Glee‘ who can sing like it’s nobody’s business!!! Of course, if you were a loyal viewer of that show you might say ‘Well all the young men on that show can sing good.” But I would counter that with: NOT LIKE HIM!!
That is sort of my introduction to who the author is of this popular book. I just couldn’t help thinking: ‘Not only does this guy have an amazing singing voice but he’s also a good writer?’ Cool beans! This book is not a recent release. The publication date is July 17, 2012, and it is for ages 8 and up. It made the New York Times Best Seller list. Even though it was published in 2012, it is 2020 and libraries still recommend it as #BookOfTheDay. My reasons for suggesting this book are: I like children’s books, and I particularly like fantasy and fairy tales. This is a book series and The Wishing Spell is the first book in the series.
