Nature Center at the VIC in the Adirondacks

At the center of the Adirondack park is the Paul Smith’s College VIC (Visitor Interpretive Center). It is surrounded by many groomed trails that go to brooks, around entire lakes and marshes and the Boreal Life Trail. There is a butterfly garden and Nature center there that overlooks the marshes on the top of the hill. It is made of stone and timber framed with a split wood shingle roof. Inside are theaters, gift shop and many nature exhibits.
