People say that in this life there is no such thing as a second chance. In other words, you don’t get to live your life over again. But if you could, which years would you pick?
For me, it would be the years I was pursuing my BBA degree in Accounting at the University of Miami ~ 1972 to 1976.
Those were defining years of my life.
- I was old enough to be out of my parents’ home; able to take care of myself (somewhat) and make my own life decisions.
- It was my first taste of independence and freedom as a young adult.
- There were mistakes made that can not be reversed. But those were also the years that I met the man who would become my husband and the father of my children.
I’d gladly live those years over again and again and again.
