When You See Jesus Christ Face to Face

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Are you thirsting for the Lord? If yes, then, He has come with a great promise that He shall never leave you nor forsake you. At times, I kept on waiting for the Lord so that He may show me His face. I kept on asking for the same, “Lord I want to see you face to face”. The time was very bad upon me because I was not able to see Jesus.

Even then, I kept on trusting Him so that I may see Him one day. I kept on waiting every morning until I went to sleep tired of waiting for Him. I used to wake up at midnight thinking that now Jesus will come face to face and meet me. The time that I spent in tears and longsuffering was difficult.

I had no soothing and comfort feeling in my heart. There was no one who would comfort me, but my faith in Him. It was only my belief that Jesus will come and hug me with His compassionate heart. At times, we feel so lonely and no one can help us. Nothing works really well and we feel lost in wilderness.

However, Jesus keeps an eye on us even when we are alone in the wilderness. He keeps on testing our faith so that we may have growth and increase in it. It is a blessing for us when our faith increases to another level because it is only by our faith we can do miracles.

Miracles of seeing Him all the time and forever, never to let Him go and see Him vanished. As long as God is infront of us face to face we live happily in faith unshaken. I remember those days when I have awaited upon the Lord forgetting what I will eat and cook. All that I wanted was to see Him face to face.

And then…as written in the word of God in Numbers 6:24-26, He came face to face. I could see Him clearly and He was still in the faith unshaken that I had received as a blessing from Him. At that time, I found peace.
