A Blessing Visit To Data Darbar

The most famous place in Lahore is “Data Darbar”. It is a tomb shrine of great Islamic saint Syed Ali Hajeveri who was born in 1009 AD at Ghazni (Now in Afghanistan). The tomb shrine is located just one kilometer away from Badshahi Mosque and Pakistan Monument.

Syed Ali Hajeveri (also known as Data Ganj Baksh) as considered as a most authentic Islam scholar and saint in subcontinent. He spent most of his life at Lahore. It is said that thousand of the peoples in sub continent converted to Islam due to his preaching. His most famous book “Kashaf al Mahjoob” is considered as one of the best book of Islamic knowledge. After reading his book we can know that humanity, equality and obedience of Almighty was the basic points of his preaching. Syed Ali Hajeveri was died in 1077 AD. His tomb is the most visited shrine in Pakistan. Thousand of people come to his shrine to seek blessing every day.
