The lazy, intelligent member of team 10, Shikamaru is a member of the Nara clan of Konoha. He uses Shadows to paralyze his opponents and uses his intellect to trap them. His father is Shikaku Nara. In the spin-off series Boruto Naruto Next Generations, he has a son named Shikadai whom he bore from his wife Temari.
Naruto Shippuden was authored by Masashi Kishimoto and ran from February 15, 2007 – March 23, 2017. Boruto Naruto Next Generation was released as the the spin-off series of Naruto Shippuden from April 5, 2017 – present.
