The Boeing 747 is an American made wide-body aircraft. It is used as a jet airliner and cargo aircraft. “Boeing commercial airplanes” produced this big boy to meet the needs of air travel, that were increasing in the 1960s. On January 15, 1970, this aircraft was featured on Pan Am’s New York–London route. It had it’s first flight on February 9, 1969.
