As you come in or leave the Flight 93 National Momument at the National Park in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, you can stop and see the Tower of Voices. Here stands a 93 foot tall concrete memorial tower with 40 huge gong like wind chimes 5-9 feet long each. 40 because there were 40 brave souls that banded together on the plane, both passengers and crew, and resisted the terrorists and eventually crashed United Flight 93 on the morning of September 11, 2001 and prevented it from hitting Washington DC and the Capital. The last they heard was one brave man said “let’s roll”….
