Mesmerising Western Ghats ( Bisle ghats range)

Western Ghat range of mountains cover 4 southern states in India – Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Maharashtra . The above picture was taken last year when we visited a small town situated on the slopes of  western ghats called Sakleshpur , in the state of Karnataka. We were spell bound by the beauty of  Bisle Ghats which is part of the mountain range . Bisle is the local name given to the mountain range that can be seen across from the town of Sakleshpur. The place is magical with lush greenery, streams and waterfalls . An ideal place to spend a day or even a weekend amidst scenic nature away from the hustle and bustle of city.
