As the canoes and watercraft get ready to leave for the Adirondack Canoe Classic race or The 90-Miler from Old Forge, NY to Saranac Lake we see one of the Mega-Canoes. Here it is in the water ready to be loaded with contestants that will be leaving in minutes. There are 7 seats in this high tech wood and epoxy canoe. Each seat has foam padding with the rear seat having triple padding. The black carbon fiber paddles are ready at each station and there are water bottles with plastic hoses at each seat. Many thwarts have electronic watches strapped to them and I am sure there will be high energy food available. There are many sponsors on the sides of the canoe. This canoe is set up to take 7 contestants and even has wheels attached to the rear to help in the carries from lake to lake.
