We are visiting the museum building at the Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Akron and Cleveland Ohio. Here there was the actual Ohio and Erie Canal that goes through the park along with a historic railroad and many trails. In the museum there were many photos and presentations of the original canal in its prime when it was used for moving crops and manufactured goods and after its prime when it mostly carried passengers and tourists in the late 1800’s.
