Emerson Point Park Palmetto Florida

If you are driving through Palnetto, Florida you should drive out to the far West end to Snead Island. Here you will find a great park at Emerson Point where there is a famous Indian Shell Mound several stories tall, many long boardwalks for miles with trails leading out to saltwater, a large tower, and a wild beach. At the wild beach, you have a view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Here is a view near the end of the park on the beach where the sign tells you all about the park under the Seagrape tree.
