Electric Wooden Canoe Ready to Launch

Here at the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association meet in Paul Smith’s College in the Northern Adirondacks, there were wooden canoes coming and going.This unusual canoe came in from Lower Saint Regis lake and was docked ready to go again. This wooden canoe has “sponsons” or side rail compartments that add buoyancy and stop tipping. This canoe is equipped with an electric motor and battery.
