We are in Ellenton (near Palmetto), Florida at the Gamble Plantation State Park. The Mansion is the main attraction, but the small part of the original 3500 acre plantation that is left is quite beautiful. There are many live oak trees shading the grounds and tall beautiful palms have sprung up. I always love palm trees as they look so tropical.
