Adirondack Camp at the Adirondack Museum

Here we see a famous photo of a hotel in the Adirondacks in the late 1880’s.  The photo is on exhibit as the Adirondack Guideboat Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, in the Adirondack Mountains of NY State. Now this museum has changed its name to the “Adirondack Experience” to reflect that they have Art, Railcars, an extensive Boat and Canoe collection and many exhibits on Forestry, Winter Snow sports, Mining and many other areas. This photo shows  elegantly dressed people getting into and out of wooden boats on some unnamed lake in the Adirondacks and probably staying at this beautiful lodge/ hotel in the Northern woods.
