It was a crisp chilly day in the Adirondacks in Upstate NY in early September and the trees were just started to turn color in Autumn. Here we were lounging at the Adirondack camp of a good friend in Chapter One of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association. The wooden canoes were out on the lake leaving the two motor boats at the dock. This is lovely Twitchell Lake between Eagle Bay and Old Forge near Big Moose.
