There was a lot of wildlife there in the Adirondacks that ranged from deer, loons, moose, bears and many exotic passing through residents. While at a friend’s camp on Twitchell Lake there was a tiny bit of wildlife right on the boards of the dock. There was a small spider web and nearby was the huge spider itself sitting on and guarding her large egg nest. This spider to me look giant as it was 2 inches long at least. Twitchell Lake is near Big Moose and between Old Forge and Eagle Bay.
