The last photo of Congaree National Park shows a Vertorama (up and down panorama) of a GIANT Loblolly Pine tree. This is a champion tree of the largest and tallest size. The base was probably 6-8 feet in diameter and over 157 feet tall. The vertorama was made from 8 stitched together photographs on this grey sky day.

I love old trees, it´s amazing that some of them were here already in the time of Romans for example…they saw their legions marching. 🙂
