How to Score High in CTET 2019 Exam – Tips and Tricks

Teachers are an inevitable part of our growth. One cannot discount the need for teachers who know and understand the subject well before imparting the same to their students. Clearing the CTET examination ensures that the teachers are well adept in handling students who rely on them for education and advice.

My grandmother often said, “There is no job nobler than that of a teacher.” Considering how education plays an important role in our lives, it goes without saying how teachers form the backbone of any society that is gearing to move forward on all ends. The Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) is currently the most sought-after examination that tests the eligibility of candidates for teaching primary and junior level students.

CTET 2019 Registration

Online registrations for the CTET 2019 have already started and are available only till March 12, 2019. Carried out by the Union Public Services Commission (UPSC), the CTET 2019 will be carried out in two distinct sessions on July 07, 2019. The test will be carried out at 2144 examination centers simultaneously.

The application form has to be filled and submitted online, which means that there is no scope for downloading the form, filling it and mailing it by post. Interested candidates may download the application form by simply clicking on https://ctet.nic.in/CMS/public/home.aspx. Candidates must take care to note down the registration number they had been issued in addition to their passwords or birth dates as these details would be required while downloading the admit card from the site.

CTET 2019 Online Application

Candidates must exercise caution while filling in details on the CTET online application form. If you have entered an incorrect detail, you may click on the “Reset” button to edit the already filled-in information. After submitting the details, candidates have to click the “Next” button to proceed. Candidates will then directed to a Review page where they may cross check the details submitted. The final step of the application process involves clicking on the “Final Submit” button pursuant to which they would be given a registration number.

CTET 2019 Admit Card

Post submission of the online application form, candidates can collect their admit cards by logging on to the official website from June 2019.  The admit card contains all details including the name of the candidate, venue details of the examination center, date and time. It is important that candidates verify that all details published on the admit card are correct. The admit card must not be folded and kept intact as candidates would be required to show them for validation purposes. Candidates not carrying their admit cards along with a proof of identity will not be allowed to give the examination. The identify proof must be a valid photo ID and may include Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Passport and Driving License. In addition, candidates would be required two passport sized photographs clicked recently.

Payment Details

Admit cards will be issued to candidates only after they have made the payment for the entrance examination. Digital payment has taken over the cash payment mode as candidates may either pay the exam fees through the card (Debit/Card) or by submitting an E-Challan of Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
