Ankit takes care of the music and Ankur takes care of the showbiz. This dynamic duo has delivered several chartbusters and over 300 live shows across India. Yet, we only know the younger brother better due to his melodious and versatile voice. The truth is, Ankur plays a big role in Ankit’s success. The singer has dedicated his success to his brother numerous of times.
Ankit says, “His belief in me got me this far. Ankur has been my biggest strength. If it wasn’t for him, I could’ve never reached the heights where I am now”.
The dynamic duo hails from Kanpur. The elder brother was born on June 1, 1988. He grew up to be a supportive sibling who swayed his parent’s opinion to let Ankit Tiwari pursue music before graduation. Considering their past as a Jagran troupe called ‘Raju, Suman and Party’, the parents understood where both the brothers were drawing inspiration from. As a result, Ankit Tiwari plunged into the world of Bollywood and indie music. Ankur helped his career by supporting him as his manager.
He made sure that his younger brother took music classes regularly. He endured Ankit was chipped into a versatile performer who could fill the air with classical Indian melodies and rock the parties with headbanging anthems. Apart from western vocals, Ankit learned the piano and Dhrupad. Ankur helped his brother gear up for the first break he received in Bollywood.
The song Sahib Bada Hatila (Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster) introduced him to the tinsel town and Sun Raha Hai Na Tu (Aashiqui 2) made him famous. Ankit’s success paved a successful path for both of the brothers. In 2013, Ankur Tiwari established Brotherhood Entertainment.

The brothers have not looked back since then. Under Ankur Tiwari’s tutelage, Brotherhood Entertainment has released four superhit songs sung by Ankit. These include Mehbooba, Tere Jaane Se, Tum Hardafa Ho, and Badtameez. The company has also roped-in artists like cricketer and DJ, Dwayne Bravo, Neeti Mohan, and Shilpa Rao.
For Brotherhood Entertainment, the sky is the limit if Ankur Tiwari and Ankit Tiwari keep the balance. The new age Indie music has a bright future if more production houses like Brotherhood Entertainment debut.
