2000 was an interesting year in history. It was predicted that the world would end. We survived and there was a lot of great music. These posts are the top 100 songs from Billboard. Number 100 was “Shackles (Praise You)” by Mary Mary Songwriters Erica Atkins, Tina Atkins, Warryn Campbell.
Basically, Mary Mary is a duo gospel group.. You may recognize some of their other songs, God in Me, Get Up, Still my Child and I Sing. She had an interesting mix between gospel and blues that appealed to many different people.
