So how did 98º become a band? It is pretty outrageous story. The story goes something like this in 1995 Jeff Timmons sang at a college party with three friends, and received a positive reaction from the female audience about his voice. So the next day he dropped out of school, contacted friends and went to Los Angeles, California to form a boy band. Sounds pretty outrageous, don’t you think?
