I was surprised to see this lithograph by Thomas Hart Benton (1889-1975) at the St Pete Museum of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is one of my favorite American artists and I had not seen this work before. It is called “The Music Lesson” where a little girl is watching a cowboy playing the guitar.
