in my memory

then one fine morning

I came to your

stead and deep silence

reigned

and I looked

you did not move

with that pallor

on your cheeks

bluish green

and a whiff

of sharp medicines

taken by

you did not move

then my sight

shifts now

to that

epitaph

where you are etched

just a mile away

yet you are now

so gone!
