Reclining Nymph at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal

There was a lot of beauty there at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal (Montreal Museum of Fine Arts) in Montreal, Canada.  This large marble sculpture entitled “Reclining Nymph” by Salvatore Albano in 1874 was particularly beautiful. The figure of the Nymph was so realistic with even the upholstery of the chair the Nymph was reclining on looking lifelike with its clothlike fringe and folds.
