Oss – 05-01-17

Oss is a mid-sized town in North Brabant, Netherlands and when I visited the local museum Jan Cunen there, I was looking out over the roof tops in the direction of the central church of its centre. I was struck by the fact that the tree branches seemed to flow into the air because that day there was a lot of clouds passing over. I liked putting the stress on the form contrasts – those made by humans (straight) and by nature (round), thus creating a cross-over between cubism and my personal style roundism.
