Ornate Grandfather Clock at the Lightner Museum

There was one very outstanding and unusual wooden grandfather clock at the Lightner Museum in Saint Augustine Florida.  It was heavily carved in all ways and was very large standing just under 10 feet tall. The people carved on the surface was truly amazing with the inscription “1743, Henry Whittington, Knight”.  I presume the knight is the carving on the front door holding an animal with the king depicted below with the crown surrounded by many cherubs.
