Here is a nice oil painting in the Lightner Museum in Saint Augustine, Florida. It is called “King Street Looking East” by Felix F. de Crano 1906. I liked this painting because it has many of the aspects of the local area including the Live Oak trees, Spanish Moss and Spanish architecture. The painting appears to be in the turn of the century Impressionist style.
I just love this painting. Simple yet almost elegant. This particular area seems very scenic and quiet with the alley bordered with trees. Thanks for showing off this beautiful painting.
