Newborn Photography
Although we love to use beautiful props like vintage wood bowls, trenchers, twig nest, etc. in our newborn sessions, sometimes we are drawn to more simple and classic shot, too.
This sweet shot was taken at the end of the photo session. Baby was still swaddled in his soft wrap, and I had a feeling to capture him straight on, against a simple handmade blanket. I placed baby down with a pillow hidden under his head that you can’t see in the image. The little pillow gave his face just enough lift to catch the light just right.
I love the way this simple shot really draws you in to look just at his beautiful facial features. Enjoy!
