White Farm and Barns at Luray Valley Museum

The last structure I saw at Luray Valley Museum at Luray Caverns in Luray, Virginia was this nice whitewashed farm out in the field. The barns are wonderful with star paintings on the smaller closer shed and on the more distant barn was a large white deer on a red background. Was this a precursor to the John Deere logo? I love the complimentary red roofs.
