At the old fashioned Mill near the Oconaluftee Visitor Center near the North Carolina entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park the building had wonderful wooden clapboards from the late 1800’s. These were weathered and even green in areas from the algae growing near all the misting water of the Mill. There was a stovepipe coming out the side of the building and the mid morning sun made a distinct shadow across the siding.
