This is the large 1878 Michigan State Capitol building in downtown Lansing, Michigan. At one end of the building is the Chamber for the Senate for the state. The ceiling of this large chamber is even amazing but the senators have enormous overstuffed chairs on the senate chamber floor and each chair has a large wooden desk with electronics, microphone, and other important things. This view is from the second floor balcony in the back of the room.
