There were so many varied and great houses and mansions in Peoria, Illinois. This particularly ornate house had clapboard siding along with shingle accents and sweeping porches. There were massive copper roofs on several areas and even a four story tower with columned open area to view the town. Above many of the windows were carved and painted wood panels. The highest point was the brick chimney which had ornate terracotta sides.
