Inside the Memphis Glass Pyramid

We are in Memphis, Tennessee at the “Glass Pyramid” which is now the Bass Pro Shop megastore. Before 2009, the city of Memphis owned it and they had NBA official games there before a new large stadium was built. This pyramid could hold 21,000 people. Now it has a large 100 room hotel inside the Bass Pro Shop, an archery range and aquarium.

The giant central elevator in the center is the largest free standing elevator in the United States. You can ride it to the top and then go outside on the glass floored observation deck for $10.00 per person or free if you are a guest of the hotel.
