Veterinarian dons a mouse suit to work with an anxious dog

I can relate to the trouble that veterinarian Mike Farrell (not the actor) had to deal with when he had to perform an operation to the one of his leg of a Dalmatian named Rupert (pictured).

Rupert who has a hostile feeling toward strangers since according his owner Sonya Schiff who adopted Rupert when he was a puppy from Dogs Trust which is located in London England a few years ago due to the pain in his leg which was the root cause of his lashing out at strangers.

Sonya admitted that it took at least one year to gain the trust of her dog. It also did not help that Rupert despite being a dog, can get antsy having to get an operation to heal a sore leg at the Davies Veterinarian Specialists in Hitchen Hertsforsdhire.

The reason Rupert learned to trust Mike is that Rupert take his naps on a mouse onesie suit in his home in London.

The illness that Rupert has was an injury to his hip and cruciate ligaments that required an operation after Rupert had that problem for one year and a half.

When I first read about this story, I was thinking the Mike wore the costume as a gimmick to gain business in England.

I am sure that the operation of Rupert’s sore leg was successful since Rupert being a young dog has a long ife ahead of him pain free.
