If you walk far enough in the little quaint town of Madison, Georgia you reach the edge of town. Here was a small and very interesting house that many would call a “shack” or “shanty”. To me it was a classic small home. I loved the little fence out front that dressed it up and the great metal roof that would sound great in the rain. And yes, it is a duplex with two front doors and is two homes in one. With one house number, it looks like it is a single home again. It may have been a slave house from the early years.
