Not all the watercraft in the Adirondack Classic Canoe Race or “The 90-Miler” were small. We all waited in Old Forge, New York for the huge Mega-Canoes to take off. These had seven or even eight contestants in a single long canoe. One group had matching outfits and many had local sponsors decaled on the sides of their boats. I can just imagine unloading all these people at every Canoe carry between lakes and reloading them on the other side.
