In the Adirondack Guideboat

Just before the Adirondack Classic Canoe Race or “The 90-Miler” this Adirondack Guideboat was sitting there.  It is made entirely of wood and has many structural ribs on the inside.  It can carry many hundreds of pounds of cargo and people. The used long powerful oars. They were used since the early days of the Adirondacks by guides to take “sports” out hunting and fishing from the camps and lodges in the wilderness.
