Just South of Pennsylvania and just over the border in Emmitsville, Maryland is the National Shrine Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes. It is located at Mount Saint Mary’s University and has this giant tower with a golden statue of Mary at the top that you can see from miles away. The Grotto is a Catholic place of prayer devoted to the Blessed Mother, Mary and has a large store then winding trails through the woods and a Grotto cave. It is a replica of the Lourdes Grotto in France.
