When Pico is with me for the summer and we visit Paul Smith’s College she is Pico the “Adirondack” dog or “Adirondack Trail Dog”. She goes everywhere with me on every trail and mountain and even on the lakes in my canoe where she proudly perches her front legs up on the deck. We are visiting Paul Smith’s College to see the annual Wooden Canoe Heritage Association meet with all the wonderful wooden canoes. Here she is in a nice field of buttercups enjoying the sunshine. I keep a bottle of water and bowl with me at all times to give her water.
